Mamie Fennimore is a Philadelphia native currently living and working in Manhattan's Upper East Side as a wine seller. A certified sommelier and a former cheesemonger for two of NYC's most reputable cheese companies, she loves to share her knowledge through teaching wine and cheese pairing courses. Her passion for food and wine started at a young age and truly solidified after her time living in the south of France. It was the French lifestyle that inspired her to share the importance of quality ingredients and accompaniments for meals to bring to loved ones at the table.

I gave this 5 stars because the dressings are absolutely delicious and well worth buying the book, but I so very much wish she would have included ingredients for the actual salad pictured with the dressing recipe. The book is gorgeous, color pictures for every recipe, but no salad ingredients so I have to try and figure out from the picture and guess. Book would be 10 star with the salad recipes, but as it was only written for the dressings I can't fault the author and still love the book.

The dressings in this book are delicious, and the ratios are spot on. I haven't tried them all, but I already have favorites I've used many times. As some reviewers have mentioned, a few of the background pages are black and that wasn't such a great idea. Those pages are still legible, just more difficult to read. However, I didn't deduct any stars for this, as the book itself is beautiful. It's my favorite for dressings.

Photos with each recipe give you salad inspiration, although the recipes themselves are only for the actual dressing.
Each page is very visually pleasing. The recipes are great, with one exception. I am disappointed there is no recipe for French Dressing.
There are also recipes for sauces, aioli, glaze, oil infusions and fruit salad dressings.
It will definitely encourage you to eat more salads. I'm impressed and pleased with this book. Definitely a go to resource!
