This is a very good video on the history of the Terracotta Warriors of Ancient China. The most interesting part is about human sacrifice in China where the members of the court would be killed to join the emperor when he died and serve him in the afterlife. Shi Huangti was not a very caring emperor but he changed this practice by creating an army of terracotta figures to serve him. The video is less than 15 minutes long but very informative and accurate. There is a Part 2 which is equally good.

From the Site:
The life-sized terracotta warriors of China are known throughout the world. This clay army of 8,000 including infantry, archers, generals and cavalry was discovered by archaeologists in 1974 after farmers digging a well near the Chinese city of Xian unearthed pieces of clay sculpted in human form.
